A commonly overlooked pitfall is **cable length and voltage drop**: When the boom of an aerial work platform extends 20 meters or 30 meters, if the control lines and power lines are transmitted over long distances and the cross-section is chosen too small, the voltage drop will be too large, causing the platform's movements to be weak or the controls to malfunction. When selecting, voltage drop must be calculated according to the actual wire length.
