Underwater Robot Waterproof Cable Product Introduction
In fields such as deep-sea exploration and marine scientific research, underwater robots play a crucial role. Waterproof cables for underwater robots are the core connecting the robot and the control terminal, with performance directly affecting operational success. Our cables are specially designed for harsh underwater environments, ensuring stable and efficient robot operation.
Excellent waterproof performance
Seawater has high electrical conductivity, and waterproof failure can easily cause short circuits and loss of control. The cable uses a longitudinal watertight structure, so even if the outer sheath is damaged, it can prevent axial penetration of seawater and maintain internal electrical stability. The insulation and sheath materials are specially treated to resist swelling and decomposition in seawater, ensuring reliable transmission of power and signals.
Outstanding mechanical performance
High tensile strength:
When the robot operates under water flow impact or dragging, the cable must withstand strong tensile force. It is reinforced with built-in galvanized steel wire rope or Kevlar fiber; the former is suitable for deep-sea high-tension scenarios, while the latter is lightweight and suitable for robots sensitive to weight, preventing breakage and ensuring operation.
Wear-resistant, tear-resistant:
Underwater reefs and sandstones can easily wear and scratch cables. The outer sheath uses high-wear-resistant imported polyurethane to resist friction and tearing, protect the internal structure, extend service life, and reduce maintenance costs.
Excellent environmental adaptability
Wide temperature range:
The ocean has large temperature differences, and the cable can operate from -40℃ to 105℃, with special models able to withstand 150℃ for short periods, suitable for different sea areas and depths.
Oil resistant, corrosion resistant, flame retardant:
Resistant to seawater, oil stains, and acid-base corrosion; can prevent fire spread when exposed to flames, ensuring safety.
Salt spray resistance and UV resistance:
Special formula and structural design, resistant to salt spray corrosion and UV aging, stable performance under long-term exposure, reducing maintenance.
Stable electrical performance
High insulation resistance:
High-quality insulation materials have high insulation resistance, reducing leakage and efficient power transmission, ensuring the stability of the robot system.
Good signal transmission performance:
Good electromagnetic compatibility, anti-interference, ensuring accurate transmission of control signals and sensor data, aiding precise control.
Flexible and diverse product structures
Conductor:
Multi-strand ultra-fine oxygen-free bare copper wire stranded in accordance with VDE 0295 CLASS 5/6 standards, offering excellent conductivity and flexibility, with tin plating to enhance corrosion resistance.
Insulation layer:
Optional materials include polyethylene, PVC, and others, suitable for different scenario requirements. For example, polyethylene is suitable for high flexibility and fast signal transmission, while PTFE (fluorinated ethylene propylene) resists high and low temperatures and strong corrosion.
Sheath:
Polyurethane or special waterproof elastomer sheaths: the former provides all-around protection suitable for various environments, while the latter is more flexible and tear-resistant, suitable for work in narrow spaces, with some including an inner sheath to enhance performance.
Reinforcement Components:
Configure reinforcement components as needed to meet different tension requirements and ensure safety.
Shielding layer:
For high-signal scenarios, tin-plated copper mesh shielding with a weaving density of ≥85% is available, anti-interference, and suitable for scientific research, precision detection, and other scenarios.
Choose our cables to provide reliable support for underwater operations, supporting the success of deep-sea exploration, engineering construction, and other projects.
